Lenses

Both Black Edit frames use ZEISS Sunlenses with an anti-reflective coating on the inside for added comfort in bright conditions. They offer 100% UVA/UVB protection and are Category 3, suitable for everyday recreational use including driving, sport, beach days and general outdoor wear.

The green lens tint helps reduce glare while improving shadow detail, making it a strong all-round option in both sunny and lower-light conditions. The product pages also position this tint as suitable for activities like water/field sports, cycling and skiing.

Frame
Crafted from Mazzucchelli acetate (cellulose acetate), selected for comfort, lightness and premium feel. Peninsula also notes the material’s sustainability credentials.
